The VCU Rice Center is a leading authority on James River research that aims to expand our environmental knowledge and preserve the health of our natural resources. During a trip to the research center, I took photographs and made various wax rubbings of things I encountered in close relation to one another. I used them to construct this small publication as a exercise, and to reflect on my time there.
